Miguel McInnis, founder and Managing Director of McInnis & Associates Consulting, LLC, has 25 years of healthcare management and consulting experience. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies, such as Deloitte Consulting and Ernst & Young LLP. Most recently, he managed the federally funded Primary Care Association in Maryland and Delaware, the Mid- Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers, which consisted of a network of 136 ambulatory care clinics providing care to low income and underserved communities. As a result of outstanding public health leadership, He was awarded the Norton-Wilson Award by the National Association of Community Health Centers. He has served on countless federal and state commissions addressing the needs of underserved populations, worked with the Bush and Obama Administrations on Underserved and Faith Based Healthcare Initiatives and helped to pass legislation in the Maryland Legislature funding health care access expansion within underserved communites.
He is a graduate of Oakwood University and received his Masters in Public Health in Health Policy and Management from the Yale School of Public Health, Class of 1992. He is also a Johnson & Johnson –UCLA Healthcare Executive Fellow and has continued post graduate work at MIT and the Harvard School of Public Health.
