International Student Financial Aid
Most grant and loan programs offered at the Yale School of Public Health for MPH students are federal programs and allocations are restricted to U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens. International candidates without sufficient personal funds are encouraged to seek funding through their government and private funding agencies.
Newly Admitted International Students
All international students attending the Yale School of Public Health need to complete a financial certification form and provide proof of finances prior to receiving immigration documents. Incoming students should download and complete the appropriate financial certification form (found below) as soon as possible. Please note that once a student’s financial resources have been certified for his/her visa, the student is responsible for these funds. If the funds are no longer available, the student may be forced to withdraw.
The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) works with Yale international students on immigration matters. If you would like more information about the visa application process, please visit the OISS website.
