Information for Advance MPH and Accelerated MBA/MPH Students

To help you prepare for your studies at Yale, please read the information below carefully and visit the YSPH incoming students’ webpage for more details about getting started.  

  • NetID – All incoming students are assigned a NetID and PIN. This information is sent to students via email. You will need to activate your NetID by using the PIN provided to create your own password. Your assigned NetID and your newly chosen password will give you access to the Student Information System (SIS). SIS includes academic information, personal data, billing and student accounts, and financial aid. Please activate your NetID as soon as possible.

  • Yale Health - Below is the link to the Yale Health Plan and Yale Health Requirements.  Please read through this information carefully and complete all requirements and the student waiver.  All of the forms including immunization requirements can be found on this website: All documentation must be returned directly to the Yale Health Plan. You will not be allowed to reside in the dormitory or attend classes unless you have completed all of the forms.  Due by June 20th.

  • Yale E-bill - Attached is a letter from Student Financial Services which explains Yale’s billing system.  Yale does not mail paper bills.  If you have further questions, please to go Tuition for the summer 2014 term will be $9,375.Summer term tuition bills will be available online as of June 2, 2014. Payment will be due by July 1, 2014 to avoid late fees. Fall semester tuition bills will be available on July 1, 2014 and due by August 1, 2014.The $500 seat deposit will be reflected on your summer tuition bill.

  • Yale IDs - submit a color PASSPORT PHOTODue by June 30th. Once you arrive on campus, you may obtain your University ID card at the Yale ID center on the medical campus located at 333 Cedar Street. For those of you with spouses, you may request an Affiliate Yale ID card for your spouse.

  • Academic Calendar - The academic year calendar can be found at session classes will begin on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.

  • Orientation – Monday, June 30 at 12 noonin the YSPH Student Services Office conference room at 47 College Street, Suite 108, New Haven, CT 06510. Please plan to attend. A formal orientation for all MPH students will be held August 25 and 26.

  • Advising- Students will receive information about their academic advisor assignment upon arrival in July. Advisors will assist students with their fall course selections and registration.

  • Class Schedule and Registration - Students will be automatically registered for the summer session by the YSPH student services office.
