Smoking on the Yale School of Medicine and School of Public Health campus is limited to designated areas indicated on the map on this page. All other campus grounds, walkways, and buildings are smoke-free. The entire area of the Harkness quadrangle is off limits to smoking because of its proximity to the Bodel Child Care Center. The designated locations, which are equipped with benches, have been selected to serve all YSM and YSPH buildings and to avoid air intake vents.
