Yale Practice Summer 2013
Like any good team of private detectives, the 30 investigators in Reimbursement and Payer Management, which is part of Patient Financial Services, keep a low profile. But now they are in the spotlight as Yale Medical Group’s Outstanding Employee Team.
Yale Medical Group has been growing at a rapid pace in the last few years, not only in numbers of doctors, but also in availability of services. In the last months, new leaders have been preparing to help take the practice in new directions.
Yale Medical Group extends a warm welcome to the physicians of Cardiology Associates of New Haven, PC. They are now Yale Cardiovascular Medicine, and they will treat patients at Yale-New Haven Hospital Heart and Vascular Center facilities.
The Yale Diabetes Center is looking for volunteers to take part in a clinical study that William Tamborlane, MD, is calling “one of the most important studies ever carried out regarding the treatment of type 2 diabetes, now and for the future.”
Thomas Gill, MD, chose to practice geriatrics because he enjoys caring for “the whole patient.” He also says the specialty provides a broad perspective on a group of people whose goals are often different than those of their younger counterparts.
