MS Center in North Haven is a ‘one-stop shop’ for patients

May 15 was a landmark day for Drs. David Hafler and Daniel Pelletier. On that day they cut a ribbon to mark the opening of the new Interventional Immunology Center and MS Center in North Haven, which will provide a convenient “one-stop shop” for patients.

Yale Medical Group doctors are the stars in a Yale School of Medicine YouTube video series called “Meet Yale Physicians.” The videos give doctors a chance to talk about something they are passionate about: providing efficient, compassionate patient care.


New clinical chief will expand services in digestive diseases

John I. Allen, MD, MBA, a specialist in colon cancer and the genetics of colon cancer, has joined Yale Medical Group as clinical chief of gastroenterology and hepatology. His goal is to make Yale a “destination center” for digestive diseases.


MyChart is making an impact, but more sign-ups are needed

MyChart, the Epic electronic medical record program that allows patients to quickly view their health information, make appointments and more, is popular among those who are using it. The next few months will bring a major push to sign up more patients.
