Research Across the Spectrum

The Yale Center for Clinical Investigation supports a diverse community of researchers working across the translational research spectrum. Our resources inspire team science that turns laboratory breakthroughs into patient realities.

In Yale’s Learning Health System, we are leveraging the massive amounts of digital data now available to evolve into a health care system that is focused on continuously improving care.

We collaborate with centers and programs across the university to provide investigators conducting research across the translational spectrum with the tools they need to conduct high-quality research. For example, the Yale Center for Analytical Sciences, developed with the Yale School of Public Health, provides biostatistical help at all levels—from problem solving to study design—that is crucial to launching and analyzing a research project. We work with community partners and practitioners to ensure that Yale research is responsive to their health concerns and that our clinical trials reflect the diversity of our population. Through the Yale Office of Cooperative Research, we partner with industry and provide seed funding that has helped our researchers develop new therapeutics and bring them to market.

Moving Science Forward:

YCCI is the backbone of translational research at Yale. Through mentorship, the promotion of team science, and access to patient volunteers – the heroes of research – we support research that improves health.

Clinical trials need volunteers of all ages and backgrounds in order to help develop new and better treatments. Visit Clinical Trials at Yale to learn more and how you can volunteer.
