OnCore Implementation Begins in Department of Internal Medicine
With the full range of OnCore Clinical Research Management System functionality now in use at the Cancer Center, implementation efforts are now being focused on the Department of Internal Medicine. A kickoff meeting was held March 14 – 16 at the Anlyan Center and included leadership from the Department of Internal Medicine, Yale Center for Clinical Investigation, Forte Research, and Huron Consulting Group. The implementation team is meeting with representatives from each section to discuss current research activities and workflows. Information collected during these sessions will be used to optimize system use and workflow.
OnCore Internal Medicine Super User Training
During the months of May and June, 18 representatives from various sections within Internal Medicine participated in a training sessions to become familiar with the range of functionalities offered by OnCore. The training included an in-depth review of the regulatory, subject, financial, reporting, and administrative abilities of OnCore. The purpose of the training was to give the OnCore Super Users sufficient expertise in the system as to allow them to contribute throughout the implementation processes, including providing content and validating workflows and standard operating procedures.
OnCore Version 12.0 is Here!
Forte Research Systems has officially released the most recent version of OnCore. Version 12.0 represents the largest new release in the company’s history. Highlighted enhancements include a new Coverage Analysis Console, expanded ad hoc query functionality, integration with ClinicalTrials.gov, and automated stratified randomization of study subjects. OnCore version 12.0 includes more than 120 enhancements that were developed through the collaboration of OnCore users from close to 40 research organizations.
