1st Annual Yale Center for Clinical Investigation Scholar Day Retreat

YCCI will host the First Annual Yale Center for Clinical Investigation Scholar Day Retreat on Friday March 9th in the TAC Auditorium. The program will begin at 11:30AM with poster presentations from scholars in the lobby of the Anlyan Center. Lunch will also be served during the poster presentation. This will be followed by talks from James Anderson, Richard Lifton and Victor Schuster who will be speaking on the topics listed below. We will also feature several short oral presentations from a number of scholars and trainees from different Yale programs. All attendees will have the opportunity to submit an abstract for a poster or oral presentation. A committee will select the top abstract from a student, a postdoctoral fellow and a junior faculty member, each of whom will receive an award that can be used for travel to a professional conference. Abstracts should be limited to 300 words and sent to Nicholas Licht (nicholas.licht@yale.edu) by close of business day on February 3rd. All those that submit abstracts will be notified by February 20th if their abstract has been selected for a poster or oral presentation.   • Victor Schuster, MD, chair of the department of medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, “Things Your Parents Never Told You About Being a Clinical Investigator”
