Regional Clinical Research Management Workshop - February 2011

On February 22, 2011, the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation hosted a regional clinical research management workshop. The focus of the workshop was on clinical research management enhancements, including:
- process improvements in clinical research management
- process improvements to achieve efficiencies at clinical research sites
- research navigation services
- academic service units supporting clinical and translational research
Presentations included speakers from CTSAs at Yale, Stanford University, University of Rochester and the Mayo Clinic, as well as Loyola University Chicago (at the Medical Center Campus) and process improvement experts from Huron Consulting Group and Carpedia International. It was a productive and informative day on how to more effectively manage the clinical research enterprise, increase efficiencies, and maximize investments in clinical research support.
