Funding Opportunities: 2014
Inaugural Wendy U. & Thomas C. Naratil Pioneer Award -
Women’s Health Research at Yale is pleased to announce this new award offering up to $50,000 in funding over the course of one or two years for initiating new, highly inventive research, or achieving a major breakthrough in ongoing research where funding is needed to achieve its aims. All proposals must demonstrate pioneering approaches to major challenges in biomedical and/or behavioral research as it relates to women's health or gender differences in health, and describe a clear path to implementation for clinical or public health benefit.
Annual Pilot Project Awards -
These awards offer up to $35,000 in funding over the course of one or two years for research designed to meet a clear need in advancing women's health, and have a clearly described path to direct clinical or public health utility. Proposals in clinical, health services, and prevention research, as well as basic science research demonstrating a translational goal are considered.
Letter of Intent Submission -
Letters submitted for the Pioneer Award cannot be considered for a Pilot Project Award. In your letter, please indicate which award you are applying for, and follow the instructions provided below.
