Associated Cost
The Dean's Office centrally funds and supports the underlying infrastructure, applications and staff to create and maintain YSM's web presence. While heavily subsidized, our Group's funding does not cover the cost to build websites. To streamline the project cost, website construction is done by our office for a flat project fee:
- Small sites (10 to 20 250-word pages) are $2,000
- Medium sites (20 to 50 pages) are $5,000
- Large sites (51 to 100 pages) are $10,000
- Extra-large sites (101 pages and up) are priced individually
- Lab sites are built, with some exceptions, at no cost. Click here for more information.
The flat fee includes:
- Use of the YSM content management system and all of the programmed functionality, plus access to all newly released functionality
- A professional photography session for both action photographs and headshots
- Expert consultation for your navigation and content
- Expert layout and construction of your content
- Search, vanity URL, and QA
- Training and support for members of your staff who will be editing the website
- Use of our project management tool to manage the web-building project
Web Editing Service
For those organizations that do not have the time, people, or web know-how to maintain their website, the Web Group has created a Web Editing Service that shifts the website updating responsibility to the Web Group. This annual subscription-based service offers two standard options, including quarterly ($2k annually) and monthly ($5k annually) update plans, but the service can be customized to meet your organization’s needs.
