Taking Ownership of your Site
At this point, when your site is being finalized and prepared for launch, you might be wondering what to do when it goes live and you want to plan a strategy for keeping it up-to-date. These are good things to think about before the site goes live, and this page will provide you with the information you need to start; however, once your site is live this page will also act as a helpful reference guide.
Before you can create an effective plan to maintain your site you will need to review the Tridion Support materials and watch the introductory videos we have here:

In addition, in order to manage the membership list for those people in the YSM Profile System, you should review this information:
Once you’ve completed that, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and request that your netID be activated for this site. Once you take over, there are three levels of ongoing support available to you:
- email@example.com or 203.737.7932
- Screen shares with the support team
- Office hours for hands-on assistance
If anyone else needs access to the site, they’ll need to go through the same steps above though we do strongly recommend that just one person be primarily responsible for editing the site.
