Guidelines

Call for abstracts: October 1, 2013

Deadline for abstract submissions to AAMC: 11:59pm December 3, 2013

Acceptance notification by AAMC: February 4, 2014

The abstract submission site is now open and accepting submissions!  Please visit the following link to begin: http://aamcnegea.abstractcentral.com

Upon entering the site all first-time users will need to create an account:

  • Click Create an Account on the left hand side of the page
  • Enter your name, degree(s), and title
  • Enter your primary contact information
  • Create your username and password
    • Note: both are case-sensitive
  • Select BOTH the Call for workshops and the Call for Posters or Short Communications
  • Click Finish
  • Log in to the site to begin and click the submission tab at the top to begin

Additional information regarding the submission system:

  • Submitters may edit their abstract at any point up until the submission deadline.  To do this:
    • Click View Submissions on the side bar
    • Under the Submissions heading, click the Return to Draft button next to the submission you wish to edit
    • Under the Drafts heading, click the Edit button to make any necessary edits
    • Once finished, be sure to re-submit your proposal
  • All communications pertaining to submissions will go to the Contact Author's email address.
    • Be sure this email address is current
    • The contact author refers to the person submitting the proposal
