Our Team

At Yale Thoracic Surgery, our multidisciplinary team is internationally renowned for utilizing the most sophisticated diagnostic approaches, providing leading-edge surgical treatments, and managing a myriad of non-cancerous and cancerous conditions of virtually every organ in the chest. 

Our surgeons collaborate with a team of physicians and specialists who combine their skills to create a personal, comprehensive treatment plan for every patient and to provide the highest quality of care available. In addition, our cancer patients are treated at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven, where their cancer care team includes diagnostic and interventional radiologists, hepatologists, oncologists, imaging specialists, pathologists, and other nationally and internationally renowned cancer specialists. 

As faculty of the Yale School of Medicine Department of Surgery, our surgeons are leaders in their fields of practice and research. They are dedicated to advancing medical knowledge to treat thoracic cancers, to improving the quality of life for those living with thoracic cancer, and, ultimately, to finding a cure. Our team members have leadership roles in most of the relevant national scientific organizations and are heavily involved in establishing and revising national standards and guidelines for clinical care.
