Physician Biography

I have been a speech-language pathologist since 1976 and have worked in a variety of health care settings. I currently focus on the clinical care of patients with speech and swallowing problems, head & neck cancer, and tracheotomy tubes. I am experienced in performing fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES), videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS), and tracheoesophageal voice prosthesis placement and rehabilitation. I enjoy clinical research and have published widely including three books.
