Chemical Peels

Chemical peels help reveal fresh, youthful-looking skin by removing layers of dead skin cells and damaged skin that clog your pores and dull your complexion. Chemical peels also help remove blemishes, reduce visible scarring, and even skin tone.

There are many types of chemical peels available, all created from a combination of naturally acidic compounds, such as alphahydroxy acids or glycolic acid. Depending on your goals, you may have a light peel, a medium peel, or a deep peel.

A light peel is used for:
  • Uneven pigment
  • Dryness
  • Acne
  • Fine wrinkles
A medium peel is used for:
  • Acne scars
  • Deeper wrinkles
  • Uneven skin color
A deep peel is used for:
  • Deeper facial wrinkles
  • Sun-damaged skin
  • Deep scars
  • Blotchy areas
During your private consultation, we assess your skin’s condition, determine your goals, and then create a custom chemical peel blend and treatment plan that is perfect for you.

What To Expect:

A customized chemical solution is carefully applied to your skin to improve the texture by removing damaged outer layers. After a specified time, the chemical solution is washed off and neutralized. The exfoliation process will continue for a few days. The amount of shedding of your skin will depend on type and intensity of the peel you have.

For best results, chemical peels can be repeated as often as required depending on the type of peel you receive. We will adjust the formula each time to meet your changing skin needs. Chemical peels can also be used in a series to treat specific concerns.
