Nasal Cavity and Paranasal Sinus Cancers
The nasal cavity is the space behind the nose. The paranasal sinuses are hollow spaces in the facial bones located on each side of the nose and beneath the eyes. The nasal cavity and the paranasal sinuses are lined with mucus-producing tissues, where the cancerous tumors generally develop. Cancer can also grow in the ethmoid sinuses, which are behind the bridge of the nose.
