The Yale University Department of Surgery offers a Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) approved breast surgery fellowship. This one-year clinical fellowship will train future leaders in breast surgical oncology in the multidisciplinary aspects of breast cancer care, including breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, imaging, pathology, plastic surgery, genetics, survivorship, and palliative care. Trainees will not only be exposed to state-of-the-art techniques, but will have the opportunity to participate in basic, translational and/or clinical and outcomes research.
