Computational Cardiac Models

Computational Cardiac Models

Dr. Yuh
Dr. David Yuh, Chief of Cardiac Surgery, is collaborating with Yale cardiologists and engineers in using advanced, three-dimensional echocardiographic imaging to build computer models of the heart. Accurate computer models could be used to better plan complex cardiac operations, including valve repair, aortic root reconstruction, and ablations for arrhythmias. Dr. Yuh’s research has been supported by funding from the National Institutes of Health and published in many prestigious journals.

Dr. Yuh's research includes work on Language of Surgery - da Vinci.
