Position in the laboratory of Dr. Natalia Ivanova

A wide variety of projects are available to define mechanisms of cell fate determination in mouse and human embryonic stem cells using both traditional and genomic approaches. Applicants should have training and experience in molecular biology and mammalian cell culture techniques.

Essential Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree in molecular biology or a related field. Experience in standard tissue culture and molecular biology is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently or in collaboration are needed. Willingness to learn new techniques is essential.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stem cell biology, RNAi, ChIP, FACS analyses and working knowledge of bioinformatic approaches to data analysis are desirable.
