Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell (iPSC) Core Laboratory
The Yale Stem Cell Core now provides service producing iPSC.
Reprogramming fully differentiated somatic cells to induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) is used to model human disease in vitro and holds great promising in regenerative medicine. The Yale hESC/hiPSC Core has successfully reprogrammed human peripheral blood cells, T- lymphocytes and skin fibroblasts from patients and normal healthy donors using Sendai virus to deliver the reprogramming genes without integration of exogenous genes into the genomes. We have also succeeded in reprogramming human fibroblasts into iPSCs using episomal non- viral-vectors. We are accepting somatic cells for reprogramming for a service fee of $ 2,200 per sample and guarantee to provide you with at least three iPSC lines.
