Biography
Dr Hoby P. Hetherington is a Professor in the Departments of Neurosurgery and Diagnostic Radiology. Dr Hetherington is recognized for his work in high field magnetic resonance spectroscopy and spectroscopic imaging. Dr Hetherington's funded research involves the development and application of high field magnetic resonance spectroscopy to evaluate metabolic and neurotransmitter changes in epilepsy patients. He is currently a member of the editorial board of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine. Dr. Hetherington is a chartered member of the NIH Diagnostic Imaging study section review committee and has been an invited speaker as well as presenter to various national and international conferences.Education
