Role at Yale
Nina Levine is the Research Assistant for the STEP clinic at Yale University School of Medicine. She will assist in facilitating communication across the groups of the multisite study, while playing a key role in the development of a federally funded campaign that will launch and run in the following years. The focus of the campaign will be to publically educate the youth and general public on how to recognize psychosis symptoms and where to seek help. It will also look to reach professionals that work with the youth in a variety of fields, both clinical and educational. She has a particular interest in mental health through the public health perspective, and sees the STEP clinic as a place to acquire more knowledge of the field. Her previous experience involves working at the PRIME clinic, as well as the Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit with substance dependent populations. She graduated from Brandeis with a BA in Psychology and Health policy and was also the captain of the tennis team.
