Substance Abuse Treatment

The Department of Psychiatry, Yale University School of Medicine invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral fellowship beginning in July, 2013. The Substance Abuse Treatment Unit of the Connecticut Mental Health Center is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to provide direct clinical services at its outpatient clinic as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The successful candidate will be well-versed in current treatment approaches with co-occurring addictions and mental health issues. An additional training component will include participation in research initiatives relevant to the use of process improvement in addictions treatment service delivery. Applicants will possess a doctoral degree- Psy.D./Ph.D. in clinical, community, or counseling psychology. The position offers didactic opportunities, supervised clinical licensing hours, mentorship, and career development in the area of addictions administration.
