Biography

I have nearly 20 years of experience conducting clinical research and designing, implementing, and evaluating clinical programs in various health settings in the United States and Australia. As a Yale School of Medicine faculty member, I direct a hospital service, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and conduct novel treatment research focused on reducing multiple negative health risk behaviors (e.g., smoking, heavy alcohol use, poor sleep). My research incorporates technology and emphasizes practical, clinical decision-making tools that can aid behavior change.
