About Project Choice

What is Project Choice? How does this study work?

Most of the study takes place over a two-month period with follow-up appointments afterward. If you qualify and enroll in the study we would ask you to do the following:

  1. Take a free physical exam, including lab work.
  2. Attend 6 appointments at our site and be in periodic phone contact with staff.
  3. Complete brief (about 5-10 minutes) daily surveys on the web.
  4. Take the study medication, which could either be Naltrexone or a placebo (an inactive pill). See the Naltrexone information page on this site to learn more.
