Assistant Director of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Services, Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital

The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine seeks a licensed clinical psychologist to serve as the Assistant Director of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Services for the adult intensive outpatient and outpatient psychiatric services of the Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital.

The position carries a clinical faculty appointment within the Department of Psychiatry, and includes participation in the Department’s APA-accredited Doctoral Psychology Internship Program. Funding for the position is based on an initial one-year term with potential for renewal based on continued funding.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional knowledge and skills in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and will have expertise in treating individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, group therapy, the provision of clinical supervision to doctoral level interns, and have a strong interest in teaching and clinical research.

Candidates must be licensed (or licensed eligible) within the State of Connecticut and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to function well as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses.
