Pietrzak honored by International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies

Robert H. Pietrzak, PhD, MPH, assistant professor of psychiatry at Yale and a research psychologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, received the 2012 Chaim and Bela Danieli Young Professional Award from the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.

The award recognizes excellence in the traumatic stress field by an individual who has completed his or her training within the last five years.

John H. Krystal, MD, chair of Yale's Department of Psychiatry, was the inaugural recipient of the Danieli award in 1989.
