Heavy & Social Drinkers

CTNA offers a variety of research programs designed to help people control their drinking while providing important information about brain mechanisms related to drinking behaviors. Some of the programs offer "inpatient detoxification" (4 weeks of medical and psychological support toward abstinence) with testing during and after the detoxification period. Some programs include people who continue to drink (not seeking treatment) during testing.
