The Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center is a leading center in the US in defining treatment for children with hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, multiple endocrine neoplasia syndromes (MEN), and thyroid cancer. Reflecting our expertise, Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center staff are national task force members in developing treatment guidelines for different thyroid problems and are internationally recognized leaders in the field.
The Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center cares for infants, children and adolescents with a broad range of thyroid problems. These conditions include thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, Graves' disease, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroiditis, congenital hypothyroidism, and multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN) syndromes. Team members include pediatric endocrinologists, surgeons, pathologists and radiologists.
The Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center is a major reason why the Yale University School of Medicine Endocrinology and Diabetes program is ranked as one of the top programs in the United States. The Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center maintains regular clinics in New Haven and Brookfield.
We welcome patients from Connecticut and other states. We also care for children from overseas, and we can assist with accommodations for out-of-area patients.
