Departments & Organizations
Following the completion of medical school and Pediatrics residency at the University of Pittsburgh, and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, I came to Yale where I am an Assistant Professor on the Clinician-Educator track in the Division of Perinatal Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics. I spend the majority of my time teaching trainees and medical staff in a variety of programs, many of which are simulation-based, and running the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program & overseeing the NICU resident and medical student rotations. Due to my desire to enhance my knowledge and skills as an educator, I enrolled in a master's degree program in Medical Education through the University of Cincinnati, and will complete this part of my training in the near future. I am interested in educational research, particularly as it applies to procedural training and assessment of competency in the simulated and clinical environments.
