Dr. Damani Piggott examines a patient at the Children’s and Family Health Center, the primary ambulatory teaching site for the Yale Combined Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program. He completed his MD/PhD at Yale before joining the residency program. “The vitality and energy of the Med-Peds family is what first attracted me to stay here for residency. I have always appreciated (the faculty) challenging us and seeking to cultivate and advance our clinical development.” Dr. Piggott, who graduated from the program in 2009, is pursuing an infectious diseases fellowship and plans to focus on international health.
