Residents, students, and faculty engage in discussion during outpatient conference at the Children’s and Family Health Center, the primary ambulatory teaching site for the Yale Combined Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program.  A similar conference occurs each day at the Yale Primary Care Center, where the categorical pediatrics residents have demonstrated increased participation, satisfaction, and confidence since the introduction of a structured conference series in 2006.  The Yale Primary Care Pediatrics Curriculum is used to guide small group discussions at many residency programs nationwide.
