Trial Purpose

Does your child or teenager have a chronic vocal or motor tic disorder, such as Tourette’s? Yale Child Study Center is recruiting children and teens for a study with the new extended release form of guanfacine, called Intuniv®. The treatment targets involuntary actions or vocalizations (tics) in children with tic disorders, such as Tourette Syndrome.

6 Years - 16 Years
Gender:
Both

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

  • At least 6 years old but younger than 17
  • Have a diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome or a chronic motor or vocal tic disorder
  • Not currently taking any stimulant medications or any medications for tics
