In our specialty clinics, we treat children with a broad range of childhood problems: auto-immune rheumatologic diseases such as arthritis, Lyme disease, developmental and behavioral disorders, abuse and sexual abuse, premature infancy. We provide routine vaccinations, screen for childhood illness, and provide positive parenting support and programming. We place our doctors in the communities in which their children live, providing those doctors with perspective on social, cultural and family dynamic stresses on their patients. Also, we evaluate and treat newly adopted children from other countries, providing their parents and them with the support they need to form lasting family ties.
Our faculty investigators research their areas of clinical interest, including general pediatric conditions and disorders, auto-immune diseases, Lyme Disease, child maltreatment, developmental and behavioral issues, and international child health. More about our Research.
