Biography
Native from Madrid, Spain Maripaz Garcia has a B.A. in English philology, an M.A. in Spanish language and literature, and a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education. She teaches Spanish 1-4 at Yale. Her areas of interest include: language teaching methodology, curriculum development, Spanish for the medical professions, translation and interpretation, cinema, neurolinguistics, and the use of children's literature at the undergraduate level.
