Dr. Giuliano is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and has been on faculty at Yale since finishing his Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship in 2008. He has grown the volume of the Critical Care Transport Services from about 350 neonatal and pediatric patients transported in 2008 to about 650 patients in 2016. Furthermore, he has helped improve the efficiency of team departure with the current neonatal team departing in just over 30 minutes from initial call and just over 15 minutes for the pediatric team. Dr. Giuliano also assisted in the implementation of a hosted transport team model with SkyHealth in order to rapidly transport critically ill neonates and children by air. In addition to directing the Critical Care Transport Services, Dr. Giuliano strives to better the education and training of future leaders in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
