Veronique Neumeister MD
Associate Research Scientist in Pathology
I am the Laboratory Director of the Specialized Translational Services Lab at Yale University, School of Medicine, Department of Pathology. I completed Medical School at the University of Vienna, Austria, followed by a Surgery Residency in Vienna, Austria. At Yale since 2007, I gained extensive experience and broad-based knowledge of breast cancer research with focus on automated quantitative in situ biomarker analyses. The Specialized Translational Services lab (STSL) is part of the Yale Pathology Tissue Services (YPTS) since 2013 . This lab is a CLIA certified institution offering services to academic and non-academic entities. We focus on in situ assessment and quantification of proteins and nucleic acids in various tissue types, on development of new companion diagnostic tests and therefore improvement of patient care. The STS lab is also involved in research projects with focus on early breast carcinogenesis.
