Dr. Terri-Ann Thompson is currently the Director of the ECHORN Coordinating Center (ECC) at Yale University School of Medicine. The ECC is the oversight body for the Eastern Caribbean Health Outcomes Research Network (ECHORN), which aims to estimate prevalence of known and potential risk factors associated with non-communicable diseases such as cancer and diabetes. She received her doctorate in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and has expertise in the areas of perinatal, adolescent and women’s health. Before coming to Yale, Dr. Thompson worked as a data analyst with the International Centre for Research on Women to examine the effect of educational attainment on fertility.
