Biography

Dr. Oladele, PhD, MPH is an Associate Research Scientist at the Equity Research and Innovation Center (ERIC) within the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Oladele’s research focuses on social determinants of cardiovascular disease and health disparities among racial/ethnic minority populations, with special interest in foreign-born populations. Dr. Oladele seeks to improve health outcomes among vulnerable populations through patient-focused quality measurement and conducting observational studies to identify multi-level determinants of adverse cardiovascular outcomes. Dr. Oladele’s current work aims to identify determinants of variation in stroke risk among populations of African descent in the US.
