Thank you for your interest in the Yale Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program! The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the Yale School of Medicine is a program that is rich in tradition, history and accomplishments. As a department, we have benefitted from remarkable stability under the leadership of only 2 Department Chairmen in the last 50 years, including our current Chair, Dr. Gary Friedlaender.
