The Ombudsperson Seeks Fair and Equitable Solutions By:

  • Providing a confidential environment in which students, staff, and faculty can air concerns
  • Listening to complaints or grievances
  • Working with people to develop options for resolving their concerns or complaints
  • Opening channels of communication
  • Suggesting approaches and strategies for addressing and managing conflicts
  • Researching and providing answers to questions regarding policies or procedures
  • Serving as a neutral third party in conflict resolution
