The Ombudsperson Seeks Fair and Equitable Solutions By:
- Providing a confidential environment in which students, staff, and faculty can air concerns
- Listening to complaints or grievances
- Working with people to develop options for resolving their concerns or complaints
- Opening channels of communication
- Suggesting approaches and strategies for addressing and managing conflicts
- Researching and providing answers to questions regarding policies or procedures
- Serving as a neutral third party in conflict resolution
