Biographical Info

Dan-Arin Silasi, MD has joined the faculty of the Section of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences as Assistant Professor as of July 2008. Dr. Silasi graduated summa cum laude from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas in San Antonio and a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Yale University.
Dr. Silasi has multiple original research peer-reviewed publications. His clinical interests include the surgical and chemotherapeutic management of gynecologic malignancies. He has a particular interest in robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery and single-port laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Silasi is available for appointments at the Yale Gynecologic Oncology New Haven office and at the Bridgeport Hospital office.
