Etiology and treatment of painful (diabetic) neuropathies; immune-mediated neuropathies; myasthenia gravis pathogenesis and immunotherapy

Current Projects

1. Rituximab in the treatment of myathenia gravis. This is translational research looking at the clinical and immunological effects rituximab in the myasthenia gravis. There are both clinical and basic science components to this project.

2. Criteria and treatment of inflammatory neuropathies. This involves defining diagnostic criteria and treatments for inflammatory neuropathies such as GBS and CIDP.
