Students in the Microbiology Graduate Program are assured of financial support for at least four years of study. They are supported by a variety of means, including pre-doctoral training fellowships provided by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation and other private and Yale sponsored fellowships.
These federally-funded fellowships pay tuition and stipend to meet both academic and living expenses. Foreign applicants are urged to apply for scholarships or funding from their own governments. A small number of Yale fellowships are available for outstanding foreign students.
