Available Postdoctoral Positions

The King Lab is currently recruiting two postdocs.

One project will focus on either (1) the study of the LINC complex in DNA repair in both S. pombe and mammalian tissue culture models or (2) the role of nuclear envelope membrane proteins in regulating recombination during adaptation. A background in cell culture (any model system) and/or live-cell imaging (for study 1) or genomic methods/analysis (for study 2), is desirable.

A second opportunity for a bioinformatician is also available. This postdoc would contribute to a collaborative project between the King and Lusk labs (Patrick Lusk Ph.D.) in the Department of Cell Biology at Yale. The project focuses on defining mechanisms of gene regulation at the nuclear periphery.

If interested, please contact megan.king@yale.edu with a brief statement of why you are interested in the position as well as your CV.
