Clinical Laboratories

The Clinical Laboratories at Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH) provide an extensive menu of routine, specialized and state-of-the-art laboratory tests to the patients who seek care at YNHH, but also provide reference testing to local physician practices, and to other hospitals and insititutions in Connecticut, New England, and beyond.

Consultations

The Directors and Assistant Directors of the Clinical Laboratories are faculty at the Yale School of Medicine and leading experts in their fields. Consultations are available for testing performed at Yale New Haven Hospital laboratories. For specific questions, contact faculty in the individual laboratories.

The Department publishes Lab News, a periodical containing brief articles on clinical topics in Laboratory Medicine of interest to the medical community.

New Lab Building

In 2010, the clinical laboratories will be moving to a new building on Park Street, which will connect directly to the new Cancer Center under construction.
