Residency Training
The Department of Laboratory Medicine provides training for residents seeking Board certification in Clinical Pathology (CP), as well as for residents pursuing Board certification in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
Fellowship Training
The Department offers ACGME-accredited clinical fellowship training in three major areas of Laboratory Medicine: Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Hematology-Hematopathology.
Community Service Activities
Science Education Outreach Program
The Department is engaged in a number of community service activities. Prominent among these is the Science Education Outreach Program which utilizes resources from our Department and the Departments of Immunobiology and Genetics.
