5. CAT scan of the abdomen
CAT scan of the abdomen:
- Liver: unremarkable non-enhanced appearance
- Spleen: enlarged:18cm, subcapsular crescentic collection consistent with subcapsular hematoma. Spleen is hypodense compared to liver
- Pancreas: unremarkable. Adrenal glands: normal
- Gallstones within the bladder, no intrahepatic ductal dilatation
- Kidneys: bilaterally atrophic with tiny hypodensities, the right lower quadrant renal transplant unremarkable without obstructive changes
- Bowel loops: normal, no ascites, no abdominal lymph nodes
- The left iliac fossa and pancreatic transplant are poorly characterized
- Extensive vascular calcifications throughout the vessels of the abdomen
